Chalamet wins the Golden Globes over DiCaprio.

As the best actors and actresses in Hollywood gathered for this year’s Golden Globe Awards, Timothée Chalamet was one of the main winners.

Chalamet, 30, beat Leonardo DiCaprio and George Clooney to win the Oscar for best actor in a musical or comedy for his role in the table tennis caper Marty Supreme, continuing his quest for greatness and an Oscar.

DiCaprio’s film One Battle After Another won the most awards overall, including best musical or comedy film and best director, despite his absence.

For Hamnet, an unexpected winner in the best drama film category, Irish actress Jessie Buckley won the award for best drama actress.

Sinners, a vampire film, was thought to be the front-runner, but it won best score and box office achievement instead.

Teyana Taylor, Rose Byrne, Wagner Moura, and Stellan Skarsgrd were among the other acting winners on Sunday. The Golden Globes are a crucial stop on the way to the Academy Awards.
