Kristy Scott, the CEO of TikTok, and her husband Desmond Scott have filed for divorce.
“TMZ obtained the court docs out of Harris County, Texas, in which Kristy cited alleged infidelity as the reason she sought the split… saying it completely wiped out any reasonable chance of reconciliation,” the publication claims. Kristy Scott and her husband Desmond have two sons together.
They first met as teenagers and got married in 2014. The couple marked their tenth wedding anniversary in 2024.
At their Houston, Texas, residence, Kristy Scott and her husband Desmond hosted a large celebration to mark their tenth wedding anniversary. “We were teenagers and hadn’t even developed any style preferences, so this was our chance to redo our wedding as the adults that we are now, celebrating the life we’ve built and journey thus far,” the couple stated at the time to People magazine.
“This felt even more special than our wedding,” they added. “We have been best friends since teenagers and that’s never changed,” the couple added. The couple writes, “10 years flew by, we’ve literally grown up together and navigated life together.”
“We focus on truly having fun, constantly laughing, keeping things light and spontaneous, and finding humor in everyday life.” The news of Kristy and Desmond Scott’s split has enraged many of their fans, and one wrote on Desmond Scott’s Instagram, “I am so upset with you.” You had to be one of the good ones! 😭😭😭.”
According to TMZ, “They also co-own Meant To Be Films, a production company centered on wedding videography and storytelling—and as of right now, it’s unclear what happens to the business after the breakup,”
Kristy Scott signed with Range Media Partners in 2023 following the success of her clothing line Vayra. She said, “I am thrilled that people are enjoying my content and are supporting when I launch new passion projects” in a statement at the time.
She went on to say, “And I couldn’t be more excited to now have a partner like Range at my side to help me continue to realize all of my aspirations, from collaborations to new businesses that I want to build.”
“Kristy’s rapid growth and popularity in a short amount of time is a true testament to her work ethic, personal drive, and genuine relatability,” Range partner and co-head of digital Eman Redwan said.
We are ecstatic to assist her in expanding her career into new areas in addition to supporting her existing endeavors. In fact, this is only the beginning.
